Scholarship Recipients for 2008 are as follows:

At the SMPA board meeting held on March 25, 2008, the Board of Directors determined to award additional scholarship money from the amount that would have been awarded to a recipient at the Silverton High School had there been an applicant. The Board elected to divide this money amongst four students in our service territory whom the scholarship committee determined to be most deserving. The students that were chosen were:

SMPA will choose one recipient from each high school.

Amount: $2,000 each

Tri-State Scholarship

By submitting your application for an SMPA Scholarship, you are also eligible for the Tri-State Scholarship. SMPA will choose two recipients within our service territory.

Amount: $500 each

Basin Electric Scholarship

SMPA will choose one graduate within our service territory.

Amount: $1,000
