The voluntary 1¢ per kilowatt-hour bill adjustment automatically tracks your electricity use and makes the needed retirement of Renewable Energy Credits. Now, every drop of electricity you use has the environmental attributes of energy coming from renewable sources like solar wind, and hydro.

Signing up for Totally Green is a great way for SMPA members to affordably support the development of more local renewable energy. One of the best features of the Totally Green program is that all of the proceeds from Totally Green sales go into the SMPA Green Fund.  Dollars from the Green Fund are used to promote more renewables in our service territory, for example, through the funding of Solar PV rebates.
